Introduction

Zhengting received his B.S. in Biological Sciences from Peking University. He completed his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2017. After postdoctoral research at UM on molecular sequence evolution, he became a Principal Investigator at the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and started the Lab of Computational Molecular Evolution. He is broadly interested in molecular evolution, phylogenetics, evo-devo, and application of deep learning in evolution.
